Our Youth
FCC Youth Group
First Christian Church has a vibrant youth ministry, generously supported by the church. What makes our group so special? It is the diversity of teens and their commitment to this church and each other. Teens are welcomed here regardless of who you are and where you come from. All are welcome here at First Christian Church.
Our programming operates with the donations and offerings taken during church on Sundays and with the help of family support. The youth group has a lot of fun, in rare cases there will be some costs that the families will have to help pay.
There are weekly meetings that encourage teens in their faith journey during the school year. The church hosts Wednesday night youth group from 5:30-7pm. There we have food, games, Bible discussion, prayer and fellowship. Youth are invited to attend worship services on Sundays as well.
Protecting our youth group is of paramount importance. We accomplish this by ensuring that children and youth are never isolated or alone, one on one, with any adult. Our adult volunteers and staff operate using best practices for the protection of kids.
We have Rules that we abide by always.
1. No running.
2. We must always be seen.
3. Love your neighbor as yourself.
4. Be respectful.
